Escort-HU is a cohort follow-up study intended to recruit patients suffering from sickle cell disease and subject to a treatment by Siklos®.
Addmedica and their partners are committed to provide health professionals with tools to help them to recruit 2000 patients treated by Siklos®, and to follow them during ten years.
This is the first major prospective cohort study in the Sickle Cell Syndrome, either in term of size or in term of duration.
ESCORT – HU is the contraction of European Sickle cell disease Coh0RT – HydroxyUrea.
This study has been implemented according to a request of the EMEA which has granted the European Marketing Authorization of Siklos® in June 2007. |
