Hyalomatrix®PA (i.e. " Prolonged Action ") is a bioresorbable dermal substitute made of HYAFF®, a long acting derivative of hyaluronic acid providing a microenvironment suitable for optimal tissue repair and accelerated wound healing. Hyaluronic acid is one of the main polysaccharides of the extracellular matrix and has an important role for the healing of wounds in general and of the skin in particular. Hyalomatrix®PA is specifically intended for the treatment of deep burns and full- thickness wounds. Hyalomatrix®PA also provides an excellent wound preparation to support the implantation of autologous skin grafts.

Le substitut dermique Hyalomatrix®PA (Prolonged Action) grâce à une matrice HYAFF® de nouvelle génération, permet la libération, au niveau même de la plaie, d’un facteur clé de la cicatrisation : l’acide hyaluronique. Celui-ci est libéré seul, sans aucun excipient.
La matrice HYAFF® fournit une structure tridimensionnelle permettant la colonisation des fibroblastes et des kératinocytes et sur laquelle les composants de la matrice extracellulaire se déposent régulièrement, favorisant ainsi une reconstruction organisée du tissu dermique.
